Nice lamp! Shame the arc tube cracked! From November 1966.

Power provider: Southern California Edison (SCE)

-Date decoder of some US lamps 1960-present.
-Switch and receptacle collector.
-I'll save any vintage lamp! Smiley

Kentucky Radio....from Owensboro, on J.R. Miller Boulevard...Germantown Park now occupies the site.

I have quite a few thermionic valves of this brand, but lamps are really unusual.

Manufactured articles should be made to be used, not made to be sold!

Actually, this is Westinghouse made, so made at Fairmont. Westinghouse bought their lamp division in 1945.

Just checked my database, Yes, essentially correct....my database has figure of 1943, but it is only a minor difference.

How long did Ken-Rad sell lamps? Did they continue after Phillips bought Westinghouse ?

I was two years and four months old when this rolled out of the plant....I see the date code there, "N6" Obviously the "6" is 1966.

It is sobering to own something fragile and complex that has been around longer than you have....
