Bookmark this webpage to use for decoding Sylvania lamps. Comes in great handy!

This lamp is from January 1976. You need to know the approximate decade the lamp was made based on features such as the packaging and the clearband in order to decode the date, as they repeat every decade.

To resist is to piss in the wind, anyone who does will end up smelling.
