Love it! Some of these bug lights have a lot of personality

The F0 probably represents June 1980 or June 2000.

Philips DuraMax and GE Miser forever!  Classic incandescents are the best incandescents!

Made at Weert, the plant has closed, been sold and demolished!

It was on the southern side of the canal, it is hard to find now, but still visible in older Google Street Views...

https://www.google.com/maps/@51.2486161,5.6780254,3a,75y,161.76h,85.74t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sILMFNX6Vt47WXCMwxneNNg!2e0!7i13312!8i6656

Found it, still there in 2009 with a "For Sale" sign on the gate.

You can see in April 2009 they tried to rent it out and the sign says "Te Huur", (For Rent). Then in December 2009 it changes to "Te Koop"....(For Sale). The Rest is History!

Getting one of these with a E27 base here is difficult. Ours all had B22d-2 bases and came from Weert way back in the '70's and later, from Sidorajo in Indonesia..(where the machinery from our plant went when it closed) and even that plant is now closed.

These days you would get a lamp with a remote control, and simply "dial-up yellow" on the remote to not attract insects.

Actually I got another version last week, from a chap in Basel, Switzerland....made by Radium. I should post it up.

Manufactured articles should be made to be used, not made to be sold!

Fee, Fye, Fow, Fum, A dead man's eye and a parrot's BUM!

Hi . It's a shame to see how many light bulb manufacturing plants are closing. I just saw the huge sign and the windows on the map.
You are right and I bought this bulb by nostalgia for the incandescent lamp. I loved it . I will leave some unused copy for the collection. When you publish your lamp I will be attentive. and bought a pair of old osram nitraphot bulbs. One should be very old. Check out if you can. thanks for always explaining things
