I presume it was a factory error, the lamp still works fine apart from this.

This happens occasionally with some cheaply made lamps from China. I’m sure this will work, but the support loop may cut into the filament and shorten its service life.

Never seen a lamp made in Norway, that’s cool!

Philips DuraMax and GE Miser forever!  Classic incandescents are the best incandescents! Stop the lamp bans!

Cool! I’ve seen this happen with cheap Sunbeam lamps in the US.

I like all kinds of lighting and electrical, especially HIDs and street lights!

- vintage and rare lamp collector
Power company: SCE (Southern California Edison) 120V, 60HZ
Westinghouse Lifeguard will always be my favorite lamp
Gotta love vintage HIDs!
