Converted my 2XF40 strip over to Slimline!!

I finally got around to converting my 2XF40 strip over to slimline. Thanks to the reversible lamp holder brackets. I’ve always wanted a Slimline shorter than 8 feet. I’m waiting on the lamps to come in. I couldn’t find them locally, so I ordered them online from

I've always wanted to do this! For awhile there was an Ace Hardware I'd go by that had tons of NOS 48" slimlines in cool white, full wattage...unfortunately I didn't buy any, since I couldn't find an F48 ballast to run them on. Cool conversion though Advance did a poor job with their ballast label!
