Cool Green is the coolest!

Liberty lamps are notorious for their crummy etches. I have a 20w Liberty daylight lamp and the etch is half scratched off. I think they were all outside etched, in a time when most lamps were inside etched.

I'd love to get a hold of a pair of Cool Greens. I'd never heard of Liberty lamps before.

Cool green are interesting, they give a light close to a clear mercury vapor.. I wonder what / why they were used for. I have two Sylvania GTE F40T12 Cool Greens from the 80's and I did not like the light output, gives a creepy parking lot mood..

Although I think those are rare, aren't they?

Oh Yes, I remember the liberty`s - E-bay.

I believe at one time it was thought that cool green reduced glare. Remember green tinted stenographer's notepads?

I wonder if thats why the cluster lights of most cars I've seen are tinted green.
