i have a bunch of them.
they came as spares with the place long ago.
i dont use the lights much since i dont like the ballasts mounted directly to wood.they are in a boxed overhead shelf that runs across the wall.wont leave them on while away or asleep.
nice to know the age of the tubes!

not sure how i missed this set of comments.
looks like these are older than i thought.so what is the difference in the phosphor?
iirc the Beryllium phosphors were long gone by 1960.
i have a bunch of these and i can offer some to collectors as tradebait.at the current rate of use the ones in the makeshift "fixture" may outlive me.i have been using them 20 years now and lots of on off cycles.the ones installed are as clean and bright as the unused ones.
anyone know the rated life on these when new?cathode shields hiding the wear from all the switching?
