Snow and outdoor lights

Snow and outdoor lights

Click to view full size image

I don't put up coloured Christmas lights anymore - I just use lights that are naturally different colours. Upper left is an 80w (/DX) mercury flood which lights the back corner of the yard; below it, a 12v, 7 watt incandescent which runs dusk to dawn, to illuminate the gate lock . A wall pack with a 70w 3000K metal halide lamp lights the basketball hoop & parking area. The HID's are separately switched & only are on when needed.

Cool! I love the lamp idea for the gate lock.

Interesting combination I like how you get the 2 different shades of white on the house, but I bet the snow looks better under the MV
