Did some research and, yes, this is real! Supposedly a storm caused this but I'm a bit skeptical since it still works. Must be a GE

Could be some car collision, shaking the pole so much the heavier top part of the lantern rotated down...

I shouldn't worry about it, humour is a very subjective thing, not everyone finds the same things funny.
Personally, I found this particular picture humorous, but not side-splitting silly.

How could a streetlight pointing straight up to light up the sky not be hysterical?? Of course it means more work for me but what the hell.

I didn't get the point...
What I meant was it's not always necessary to analyze. Sometimes things are just meant to be funny.

Yeah, it was funny, but not funny enough for me to roll on the floor laughing, which would happen if all the L*D street lights in Aberdeen suddenly failed at once

I did think my comment about being near to the airport was funny.

That's why I told Jennifer not to bother with it. It's difficult to find funny here. Life in general right now is pretty depressing. I don't understand people particularly here.

Hey, aren't we funny..? And Mad Max..? We do our best to inject silliness here Like I said Jamie, humour is subjective, we don't all find the same things funny. There'd be an awful lot of comedians out of work if only one made us all laugh As for trying to understand people, I sometimes wonder if it's worth it
