Me and the wife keep horses, Jo has kept them for years, but I`m a bit of a late comer into the equine scene, but when you have been to plenty of horse shows, and got to know horses, they have brilliant characters!!
Then the film `Tangled` came out, and seeing Maximus the horse, `humanised` in the film was something I couldn`t stop laughing at when I watched it! The fight scene with Flynn when he had the sword in his mouth, (my avitar), was the best bit, so I though it was very fitting for a user name!
That is pretty cool, lol now you should step up your game a bit... give your horses sword training lmaoo

I've always liked that name tbh, was wondering what the 96 was until now... i kinda half figured it was a birth year but was unsure...

Kind of a late reply, but my username origin is pretty similar to Fluorofan96's. "streetlight" being my main arena of interest in lights and "98" meaning 1998, the year I was born. My signature at work is "598" for May 1998 (the month and year I was born). The electrician I usually work with frequently tells me to mark my work on major things like panels, meter sockets, etc. The electrician I work with frequently uses "300" as his signature since it's his vehicle code when he uses the company gas card to fill up the van. The way he sees it, if everyone was required to mark their work they'd take a lot more pride in it. By marking my work, it's his way of insuring I do my best work, since my name is on it. He's trying to get the boss to make everyone do it since my boss has a bunch of hacks working for him.

The orgin of my user on LG is that the type of fluorescent light that I put is not common and is intentionally not proper code (F96T12 DX VHO) Why did I do this on purpose? I have a lot of daylight (6500K) lamps, they all may not be 8' long but still counts. All daylight lamps that I have will be listed below by wattage F15 (17) F20 (10) F40 (2) F96 (30 and counting)
Now lets get back on topic The reason why it's not properly coded is because I got lazy The fact that any 8' lamp is astonishing especially in DX
More reasons on why I picked it: It's very easily noticed By the time I realized that the proper code was DX and not DD, it was too late and I got registered. I'm aware that you can ask an admin to change your user but I decided to stay with my name because it doesn't consist my name or anything else just an improperly coded lamp that is not common
Extras: during registering for an account I brainstormed for like 2 hours to pick a name, some of my ideas are listed below Ballasted Ballast Ze Striator F40 Fluorescent HPS

My user name comes from the 1000 watt Wide-Lite F-series floodlight that currently lights my "backyard" (85'x 600' field) which I got from a friend of mine after hounding him for over ten years. I finally traded him a 400 watt metal halide flood for it when the original mv ballast went POOF! it had a 1000 watt color improved GE bonus line lamp in it. I restored entire thing and replaced the ballast with a mv/mh multi-volt ballast and a shiny new GE 1000w mh lamp. BTW the 1000w bonus line is stashed away for safe keeping although it works perfectly. besides, the clear mh will light all the way to the woods whereas the coated merc would only reach about half way

Yes I did too, but I quickly realized that not everybody knows what a striation is And I kind would have to stick to my user and I never leave my gfs apartment and I never see any new lamps

I had a bunch of fluorescent lamps that were mostly newer F40T12s so I decided why not name myself fluorescent lover 40 back in 2018. I think the reason why I didn't put F40T12 in my username is because I had (and still have) a single F40T10 at that time.
