Hmm, I’ve started to wonder if I’ve been blocked on the message boards, because I’ve noticed my post will be the only one in a thread that the original poster doesn’t respond to. Kind of odd, and I’ve seen this multiple times.

My restore currently has a lot of GE, Philips Alto and Satco T12 fluorescent tubes. Looking at the label on the GE box of tubes, they were probably all donated by Lowe’s.

Note the crappy ‘spring’ clips that are holding the body of the lights up as they fall, these clips sometimes have to be re-bent in as they spread when putting the fixing screws in, this together with the fact that you should double check the clip is actually seated properly in their groove before you leave the job would eliminate this problem, and as above, one only has to come unclipped, and it’s weight will domino the others!  :D

Just received my FT36 DULUX fluorescent tube... one of them. I ordered two. Seller goofed.
Circling around the seller until I get my second fluorescent tube. Refund threat activated.

One of them was loose and fell. All of them had short wires, so they went down like dominos. Maybe someone threw something or shook one.

Very awful to see. What caused all those lights to fall?

Heh. The worst one we've heard was on a Greggs delivery van. It was in a queue of traffic for a T junction and signalling to turn left. Along with the flashing indicators was a stentorian voice announcing at 10 second intervals -

"WARNING..! This Greggs vehicle is turning left..! WARNING..! This Greggs vehicle is turning left..! WARNING..! This Greggs vehicle is turning left..!"

AAAAARRRGGGHHHHH..!!!!!  :curse: :curse: :curse:
