Cheap way to get that LPS color if you are too poor to afford an actual LPS lamp. Probably doesn't last as long though.

That is the "electric Pickle"Just make sure its UL approved!Did that in an electronics shop-the pickle and a variac.Made for a weird greenish yellow light for a few min-than burnt picle!

Seems like now I can afford a LPS  :lol: . The light from it isn't actually sodium, it is very contaminated with chloride, carbon, and hydrogen, which also glow orange.
