I posted this video because I find it funny when I read a funny quote about making 1940s halfpipers more energy efficient by recycling the big fat energy guzzling F40T12 tubes and replacing them with these adapters in conjunction with F28T5 tubes :lol:.

 It really dont save much due auto transformer ballast here
  Cause of voltage conversion  plus ballast loss,  then save it easy will be kinda insult as well.

If I am retrofitting a large installation of North American F40T12 preheat fixtures using autotransformer ballasts, the overall savings would add up.
