So, a new topic that I guess would be fun. "Which Lantern Associates With Your Local Council? Well, what I mean by this is which lantern lantern is commonly used through your council e.g. "I associate the Holophane S-Line with my council, as it is used a lot & commonly".
I can't really associate my council with the old lantern but Westminster council associates with the Atlas Alpha 8s (https://maps.app.goo.gl/jACnCxRhcqnF97bB8?g_st=acAtlasAlpha8s) :)

I'd say westminster associates with the Revo Grey Wornum, Atlas Alpha 8, Sugg Rochester Upright Gas and fluorescent main road lanterns (I'm not sure about the make and model though).
Over here in Canberra, I'd say for main roads it's most common to see a Philips Roadflair, or a Schreder Avento. For side roads, I'd say the Sylvania B2001, Sylvania Orbital, Sylvania StreetLED mk2 and Sylvania Suburban are the most common.
As for historical lanterns, I'd say the AEI Optispec remote and Raymond Industries Wyt-Ray post top and Wyt-Ray cobrahead were king of the roads back in the 70s. Before that it was simply just old radial waves and post tops (even in the city centre). Canberra is a relitivley new city, being founded in march 1913 for the explicit purpose of being the new country (at the time only 12 years old at the time) of Australia's Capital City.

Cheshire East here, and without doubt I associate our council with Thorns iconic legend, the mighty Beta Five! 😎
Mass installed in our little town in spring 1980, replacing our mercury lamps, and with us until their sad removal in December 2016!, but I also associate us with the linear sodium lamps used in Thorns Alpha Five, but the bulk of them were in my all time favourite lantern, GECs Z 9517 🥳

I Can't really associate my council, but Warwick Council more associates with GR150s and Mas lanterns. Sgs203s were popular as well, and the 204s
