So I was looking on the Feit Electric website when I came across this (https://www.feit.com/product/150-watt-equivalent-bright-white-a21-filament-led-light-bulb/). It's also listed as being available in 3000k. These bulbs are rated at around 2600 lumens which is even brighter than their 100w equivalent LED filaments (which are already very bright). Unfortunately, I can't find these available to purchase anywhere. I just thought this was really interesting and exciting since I have been waiting for high brightness LED filament lamps like this ever since they became a thing. I just hope these become available for purchase soon.

I think I might try and contact them as I could use 2 of them for the recessed squares in my back room . :o
-
I'm guessing they are going to be available for sale in stores like Menards in a few months or so.
-
I'll definitely be watching . :led2:

I tried to search the LED filament for you as an alternative but i could not find it in any stor for purchsing. I have got one thing might be it can solve your LED bulb issue otherwise we can only wait and watch.https://en.lumenco.ca/indoor-lighting/bulbs/led-bulbs/ (https://en.lumenco.ca/indoor-lighting/bulbs/led-bulbs/)

I don't think he is Dor. Please don't make accusations like that without solid evidence.

They are now listed on the Home Depot website!

They are out of stock currently but it says they will be back in stock by June of this year apparently.

If you take a look at this image, you can see a tall capacitor in the bottom half of the stem.

An interesting design choice, but probably means this bulb is flicker free.
-
With LED filament lamps, you have two options, flicker free but not dimmable, or dimmable but with 120hz flickering, never both.
-
Typical...only available in 3000K & 5000K. If they were available in 4000K, I might bight and try one...but then again, I've never been impressed with Feit product quality.
-
Nice! I like the 3000K version of this high output LED filament. I also see that at 18W for 2605 lumens that is over 144 lumens per watt.

I really wish they would make a 4000k version too.
As for their quality, I did have a 100w equivalent LED filament bulb fail within the warranty and they sent me a 2-pack of the newer version completely free.
-
They do have a 2 yr warranty on them ! :led2:
-
Yeah Feit has pretty good service, I've had a 100w equivalent LED die and they sent me a couple free of charge to replace them.

Feit products seem to be good quality. I’ve never had any of their LEDs fail and the incandescent reflectors (high-quality floods) seem to last a long time.

i like that big beefy condenser in there.... you know there is know flicker with that huge thing in there. i wonder what the farad rating is.
-
I’d give them a shot!

It looks like they are now for sale in some home depot stores judging by the reviews.

It's still not showing as available in HD stores in my area so it looks like I'll have to wait. I'm really excited about this though since it seems like it would work great for use in my streetlights without sucking a ton of power.
