These are the same Glare Bomb POS that the city installed in the neighborhood near me . No wonder the residents are complaining . These have NO optical control WHATSOEVER !

These were installed near me with “glare shields” which are literally 5” long pieces of black plastic that hang in front of the LEDs on the fixture.

They would be 100 times better if they had no side glare!

Agreed ! How hard is it to design a light that actually has some control of where the light goes !

According to some of the comments on that video, those are "5G weapons".  ::) Seriously though, those GE Evolve lights are some of the worst offenders for glare I have ever seen. Some were installed to replace 250w HPS lights in my area and they are so bright it hurts if you approach one from the side. What's even dumber is that they don't light the road any better than the 250w HPS lights they replaced, most were FCO M250R2s and they were much more bearable.

Denver has been changing out quite a few for 3500K - less bright as well, they just re-did a few on/off ramps for the highways that has 5000K initially they look nice.  There will be no bringing back any HPS.
