This is exactly how i feel when a cheapo chinese cfl burned out and i have to deal with it .

That stupidity is exactly the reason, why we have to deal with the unreliability of lead free solder in electronic, why accurate and century long life mercury medical thermometers have to be replaced by inaccurate IR or unreliable contact ones, woods glass BLB being banned and so on. Just because there are morons who refuse to use common sense to dispose of such stuff properly and spill it around. Because with such morons, the only way to prevent the nasty components to contaminate our environment is to ban their use, even when they are irreplaceable without loosing the performance or durability of the products.
