Preserving the Brightest Ideas of Our Age

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY « on: December 31, 2012, 08:04:40 AM » Author: Globe Collector
Although our prime meridian is still 15* east of the sun's antipodal point, because of the Australian Government's "Daylight Saving Time" we are legally in the New Year now. I can hear the fireworks being fired from the mortars at Constitution Dock, about 10Km south of where I live in Moonah, Hobart Tasmania.
Technically Al and Blake in Christchurch and Auckland respectively are in the New year a few hours already!
