In my childhood, I can remember occasional sightings of 1960s GE M1000 lanterns with glareshields on the freeways in Southern California unfortunately 99.9% of those lanterns had been replaced with HPS and LED over the years. I would love some help with trying to obtain such lanterns as they have been my favorite US cobrahead for as long as I remember. It is really sad to see them disappear from California's freeways.
