Do you believe in Angels.? « on: February 22, 2021, 11:38:03 AM » Author: Mandolin Girl
I have just been on the phone to somebody we know locally to ask if she can do some shopping for us.  :wndr:
She is going to do it first thing tomorrow, and here is the part that really brought a lump to my throat... When I said we would have to work out how to pay for it, she won't take any money for doing it for us.

Gillian you are a true angel.!!  :-* :-* :-*

Clickbait title aside, if you use "angel" and "altruistic individual" interchangeably, you're going to confuse a lot of people.

I'm using 'angel' in the sense of people doing others a good turn, like here in this song by our good friend Eve.

Who rang us one day last week after not having spoken for ages (despite frequent voicemail reminders), and opened the conversation with the immortal words "Oh (...) I forgot to ring the girls"  :mrg:
