Brackets for outdoor Beta 5 « on: April 26, 2021, 12:31:01 PM » Author: halowraith1
Hi all,

I've recently got my hands on a Thorn Beta 5 Mk.16. I intend to install it outside on the wall; trouble is, I'm struggling to find a simple, straight bracket. Does anyone know of any companies I can purchase one from?

Cheers,
J

I believe you're in the UK, so try A C Ford. They do all sorts of stuff like this.

By the way, if you post this sort of thing in Wanted you'll usually get a better response. I just happened to see it by chance.

Take care,

Thanks, I'll take a look at them.

I didn't really know where to put this thread, so I just put it in the lanterns sections

Make one if you’re lucky enough to have access to a welder?, I had to make one at work for my Holophane factor small, as they have huge spigot intakes!, I had to use a scaffold pole in the end!  :o

Well, AC Ford doesn't want to do it. They said they have no materials or brackets in stock. Anyone else I can try?

Oh, that's a pity, they're usually very good. No ideas of anyone else, I'm afraid  :(

You can still order lantern spigots from electrical wholesale, the last one I bought was about £35

Mine wasn’t on line, it was from a wholesaler called the Electric Center in the UK, here’s the catalogue page, sorry it’s a tad blurry?, I would guess you can order on line though?
