(SOLD) American Electric R175M area light « on: May 08, 2021, 01:11:47 AM » Author: Lumex120
I'd like to get rid of this thing since it's just taking up space, I have another one similar to it, and I know I'm never going to use it anywhere. It doesn't have a refractor, the cloth leads are a bit kinked up but otherwise are in okay condition (though I would recommend replacing them), and the ballast buzzes like a fire alarm. It could probably be fixed by revarnishing it or something. Anyways, this fixture was made by American Electric and has a DoM of 10/13/1989. It is a "yardblaster" style fixture but these ones were known for being high quality. Anyways, $10 plus shipping and it's yours. For an additional $15 I'll throw in an NOS (no packaging though) Area Lighting Research photocontrol and a 150w Sylvania Unalux retrofit sodium lamp. PM me if interested, the only payment method I can use right now is Paypal.

Thanks!

Will you take offers? If you are firm on the price, that's ok. I am just looking for one so I could reuse the ballast housing on my R175M because the housing on mine is cracked.

I already have multiple other members interested in this, I'm just waiting to hear back from one at the moment. If they all pass on it for whatever reason, I'll be taking offers.

I just want to say this now, so people don't have to keep on wondering or asking questions, but I was the one who got this light.
