F30T12 Fluorescent Fixtures « on: April 17, 2022, 03:05:45 AM » Author: suzukir122
I'm on the hunt for several F30T12 fluorescent fixtures... eight of them, to be exact. But... I can't find any online for sale!!!... not even one.
Any help? If anyone sees several F30T12 fixtures for sale online, post a link to them and I'll buy. Keyword is online...
I will not be picking up, and I want to be able to get those fixtures shipped to me. (Several different reasons behind that.)

How many do you need? I found 3 from two different sellers:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/333730041464
https://www.ebay.com/itm/333744436724 (lot of 2)

If you need more you could get some T8 strips and change the ballasts in them:

@Joseph_125, I failed to mention that the fixtures must be 2 lamp F30T12 fixtures, definitely not the one lamp versions.
I also failed to mention something that you brought up... the fixtures can also be T8 fixtures, as long as I can replace the ballasts
with T12s, and as long as the lamps can fit.
The 2 lamp F30T12's are rare, I knew that, but they seem to be way more rare than I originally thought.

I should add that I've also thought about finding fixtures through like, part numbers or code numbers, etc... but I don't know
of any part numbers, code numbers, etc... to find 2 lamp F30T12 fixtures for sale

Well two lamp is a lot harder to find, especially in magnetic T12. You probably have to convert the following T8 strips to T12. The part numbers could be searched online too.

Lithonia C 2 25 MVOLT GEB10IS

Metalux SSF-225-UNV-EB81-U

It's probably good practice to order new tombstones going from T8 to T12. First you ensure T12 lamps will fit, second most T8 instant start tombstones are shunted which are unsuitable for T12 ballast.

@Joseph_125, yeah it looks as if that's the route I'm gonna have to take... converting T8 fixtures to T12's. If the T12 sockets can fit (because I
would definitely replace the T8 sockets) and if the magnetic T12 ballasts can also fit, I'll be good. I say this because I know some newer T8 fluorescent
fixtures are purposely made thinner to prevent installing magnetic ballasts. Same thing with the sockets lol

@Funkybulb, sounds good. It's really important that I mention that the fixtures absolutely must be identical with one another, so
that they'll look good in tandem with each other, like the rows of fluorescent fixtures in school classrooms, grocery stores, etc.
If they're not identical with one another, I won't get/buy them.
If they're identical with each other, and if you're wanting to sell them on Ebay or similar trustworthy websites, I will gladly buy
them. I'm looking to buy eight F30T12 fixtures in total.

I'm still on the strong hunt for 8 F30T12 fluorescent fixtures... right now the 1st link that @Joseph_125 provided to those T8 fixtures,
has my strongest interest, mainly because of price... but it seems as if they've only got 6 available. (company wide) I'm hoping for 8 total
fixtures. That right there is the biggest thing holding me back from purchasing those Lithonia fixtures. The Metalux ones are a bit too expensive,
and only 4 available.

There are a few eBay sellers with active listings for the Lithonia C225 strip light fixtures. You should be able to get 8 from buying from a few sellers.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/400207936271 6 available @ 29.99 ea.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/133789993171 1 lot of 4 available @ $67.16.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/265249865340 1 older magnetic HPF T12 C230 @ $30.00 ea.

It might be worth it to search eBay for "C230" and "C225" from time to time.

8;)... now THAT'S what I'm talking about. This helped me a lot! As of now I don't have the funds to get any of those fixtures, at all.
Can't get any ballasts yet either. It's possible that after my next paycheck, I might be able to dig into purchasing some of those fixtures.
Certainly not 8 of them, at least not yet. C225 is the biggest help right now, unfortunately, since the amount of them being sold meets
the amount I need. I'd just have to find quality full power T12 ballasts and more T12 30w or 25w lamps.
I'll be searching eBay for C225 and C230, if those ones you posted a link to all get sold out. I didn't know the fixture code numbers
or anything of the sort, so this really helps. Thanks man, @Joseph_125!

No worries, hopefully you'll be able to find more Lithonia C230 striplights, or Lithonia C225 ones. You should be able to find them by searching Lithonia and the part number.
