At home, our ceiling lamps usually use ring fluorescent tubes, LED lamp plates. The vast majority of LED bulbs are used in downlights and pendant lamps, and a very small number of are original CFLs.

In my apartment, most of the lighting that I use for home lighting is mostly a mix of HID and fluorescent lighting running on preheat circuits with a few electronically ballasted CFL lamps and a 4 lamp instant start electronic ballasted F32T8 wraparound fluorescent tube fixture with some banned GE F32T8/SP50 tubes and GE F32T8/SP65 tubes.

Desire to collect various light bulbs (especially HID), control gear, and fixtures from around the world.

For China's electricity bill, this is a waste of money, so in China we have gradually tended to LED, and all fluorescent tubes will eventually be used for my testing.

In general, the shift to LED lighting is a global phenomenon. It seems inevitable that there will be a point where any light source that is not LED will become hard to find.

So before they are eliminated, let's stock up on some.

In my room at my hostel, I uses Hyundai Baguette 102 fixture for one 21W T5, and Ventral tracklight for 70W double ended MH lamp. I have a computer/table/desk lamp with E27, which now have Sunlight 15W full spiral 2700K CFL and above my bed, a NISKO made meltlight with Eltam series choke and a Sylvania Lynx-S 9W/827 CFL.

We use recessed can lights with LED bulbs in them. Just to clarify, I encourage LED lightbulbs in the home, as long as they are a standard shape, or flood, and use a screw / bayonet base. I don't like the fluorescent retrofits.

If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it
HID Fixtures should stay HID, but I think LED is fine too.
