Why sodium don't have a molecular continum at high pressure like thallium and indium have?

Please forgive me if my choice of my words looks like offensive, while that isn't my intention.

I only working with the international date format (dd.mm.yyyy).

In a typical HPS lamp there is some radiation of this kind, because sodium forms quasi-molecules with the xenon gas filling.  This radiation is absent in the neon-filled Penning-start HPS lamps.

They tend to be pinker, but it depends also on the mercury vapour pressure.
