HPS Flood? « on: February 19, 2010, 01:03:49 AM » Author: tmcdllr
I've seen 70 watt HPS PAR38s before but I am looking for a 100 watt PAR38 or R40 medium base flood lamp for a project but am having no luck finding one. Is there such a thing? Any suggestion? I've Googled both but didn't get anywhere. If I have to I could use an E/ED/B shaped lamp with a reflector but would prefer a flood lamp. I thought I saw an R40 but don't remember where or the wattage.

Thanks.

Nothing like the beautiful cool white light of a coated Mercury Vapor lamp and the soothing hum of it's magnetic ballast.

Wow, no takers? I guess I might be SOL on this one. Wasn't there a GE fixture in the 80's that took a 70 watt PAR38? Are PAR38s only available in MV and MH for HID?
