Has anyone else noticed lately that the Savant lamp packages have a slightly different font than the General Electric ones?

I like HID, CFLs and incandescents
Favorite indoor light source: PL Fluorescent (Preferably preheat, maybe rapid start, maybe instant start but instant start is boring) Favorite outdoor light source: High Pressure Sodium (MV maybe, but HPS is relaxing)

I've also noticed any mentions of GE other than the logo have been removed.
Ex: "Let GE Show You What Light Can Do" is now "Let Us Show You What Light Can Do" and "GE Halogen bulbs provide a bright, crisp light" was changed to "Halogen bulbs provide a bright, crisp light"
Possibly to avoid issues with General Electric brand licensing and Savant

They should scrub all mentions of GE on the packaging, they don’t deserve to carry the GE brand. Savant is just a embarrassment.

I agree, plus it makes for added confusion as it seems like GE Current aka Daintree still makes lamps too. IMO, the rights to the GE name should have been licensed only to Daintree.

Yeah it's quite sad that GE Lighting is no longer a part of General Electric @Econolite03: Agreed, the GE branding is nothing but a trademark licence with General Electric and Savant. Especially with the discontinuation of traditional incandescent lamps from Tungsram. GE is no longer the GE I knew and loved Same goes for Sylvania and LEDVance,

I have also seen various GE lighting products made by Jasco.

If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it HID Fixtures should stay HID, but I think LED is fine too. Any new photos are taken with a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ35! Local power is 120/240VAC 60Hz, TV is NTSC 480i 59.94, DTV is ATSC 1.0 and simulcast ATSC 3.0. -Using Lighting-Gallery since 2022-
