What I always found odd was there seems to be a period when cell phones were allowed in classrooms and now they're looking to ban them again. When I was still in high school, the rules were pretty strict about cell phones (most people had flip phones back then so there was less stuff to do on them). You were only allowed to use them between classes or during your lunch/free period. If you pulled out your phone in class you would be told to put it away or sometimes would have your phone taken away until the end of the class. I think shortly after I graduated high school, the rules around phone use were relaxed but it seems now they're disruptive enough for schools to talk about banning them in classes again.

I'm Gen Y, so even though I'm still fairly young, this makes me feel old as well. To combat it, I try to keep myself in shape. General exercising and weightlifting. I'm strong, and as I've been told many times, I still look as if I'm in my early 20's. Not sure how I feel about that though. And yeah, I'm from that same time period where phone use in class was a serious no. You take out the phone and get caught, your phone was taken away immediately, usually. Not as strict as THIS though:... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9UtRsGU6pVs... but close. That event was definitely around the time I was still in school.

Once the clock strikes midnight, Gen Alpha will end, marking the beginning of Gen Beta. Prey that this new generation won’t be doomed like the current one!
Let's hope that this New generation will be more bright unlike Gen alpha that is brainwashed by screens. Now with new laws banning TikTok ''which is probably the worst app ever invented'' let's hope that kids will develop once again critical thinking and a bit of common sense that is not going to be absorbed by some short time videos which destroy children brains.

Lucky! I’m a Gen Z and I look like I’m 40.

I’m also ashamed of being a Gen Z, but I’m grateful of not being a Gen Alpha. So I hope you are too!
