Has the Thorn Alpha 2 or Alpha 6 ever been used in the UK? Is there any still today in England? I was just wondering as people don't really photos of the Alpha 2 and 6

Yes, they were used. I'm not AWARE of any survivors that aren't in collections. There is a streetlightonline survivors article about an Alpha 2, and another about a refuse centre (I believe) with an Alpha 6.

I remember the A6’s being used on the M63 while going on a school trip in 1985 😎
