Has anyone ever seen an ITT/AEL 213/214 PowerPad in the wild before? « on: August 15, 2025, 02:11:55 PM » Author: Maxim
See here for reference:

I've never once seen this luminaire out in the field.

I know that @fluorescent lover 40 has pictures of some in his gallery, though they were on private property.

I certainly have. Grays Harbor PUD out on the Pacific coast of Washington still has a bunch of them.

@Baked bagel 11 - Those are actually on public property, one on a street (gone now), and the other pair at a city park (I believe still there).

I have seen them, as mentioned. I believe the city of Chino, Calif. still has a few hanging around.

@Baked bagel 11 , @LightsoftheWest , @fluorescent lover 40 -- That's cool you guys. I guess it's more of a West Coast special?

Off-topic, but I must warn anybody who's tempted by the download buttons on documents uploaded to Scribd. Apparently, according to a bunch of reviews on Trustpilot, downloading is essentially locked behind an uncancelable subscription.
In other words, you can't download them if you don't pay.

@ScienceGuy722 — there are plenty of Scribd downloaders out there. All of which scrape the original PDF document from Scribd's servers. You have to be completely taken in by the system of 'ask no questions and do as you're told' to not seek out (or develop your own!) free alternative to supporting the mega corporation.

There was one available on eBay... The seller appears to be on vacation, so the listing is most likely dormant.

If the seller re-posts, I'll post a link in the 'Web Finds'.
