Found these in a video of 1940s Berkeley and found these on the Eastshore highway. Who made these and what light source did they use? I couldn’t possibly imagine that these were incandescent.

Good question! I’m not sure because American lanterns are my weak point, but it could well be lost to history

Yep, I think they're M-2s. Those are UNMISTAKEABLE! They could probably be mounted back to back, with a small arm (like the ones that attach a shoebox) holding each. Or they could be custom? IDK how they're mounted, but correct me if I'm wrong, i think they are M-2.

I like math, lighting, computers and electronics. LEDs should be better thought out. they are actually quite good if they are good quality. They should be built to a long actual life not to a cheap price!
