@xmaslightguy - That's nice. Seems you've been listening to a lot of them since you've worn out CD Players 😁
Yep I listen to quite a bit.
Don't listen to CD's as much as I used to.. My computer is also connected my stereo system, so also do MP3's allot now too.

I have TONS of purchased music CDs as well as cassettes . I even have some 8-Tracks !!
Besides my collection of CD's, I have a small number of cassettes, plus some old vinyl records.. and my dad's old 8-tracks are stored with my stuff (couldn't even say when I last listened to a cassette/record/8-track though.)
It doesn't work anymore, but I even have an 8-track player that can record. .lol.

Then for movies, I have some old VHS tapes & laserdiscs, plus DVD's, & Blu-rays. If I was looking for something, I'd only buy Blu-ray anymore. Haven't used a VHS or laserdisc in a long time, I don't even know if the player works anymore.

We use Blu-Ray XL for archival purposes. It's 128GB/disc, but you have to write and read it at a painful 2x. They say these discs are supposed to last for 50 years.
Interesting. Never heard of it.
