A 4-lamp F14 fixture would be :o awesome!
I built myself a 2-lamp F14 striplight since I've never seen such a thing :) LOL

Actually 2 lamp like I did was fairly easy (mainly kinda time consuming LOL) All I did was take a piece of sheetmetal and used one of those standard 4' striplights as a pattern (don't remember if i ever put up its "making of" vid on YouTube or not but I just uploaded a pic of the finished thing here for you)

Doesn't really show in the pic, but if you saw it up close in real life you could tell its not "professionally made" LOL
The next few months is my busy time....

I may eventually build a 15w similar to this. If I have enough parts left, I can build another 14w as shown in the link. It may be a while, as the remaining 40w fixture that these are cut from are still in usage and I have to replace them first.

Shortening an existing fixture is deff easier than 'building' one LOL
So you could just buy a cheap F20 fixture & cut it down :)

A F14 4 lamp "halfpiper" would be  :o :o :o :o and  8) 8) 8) 8)
I have thought about a 4 lamp "halfpiper" using F8T5s or F6T5s.  Cramming all the gear in one of those would be pretty tough though!
