(2) F48T12 Fluorescent Fixture « on: July 07, 2012, 10:46:15 PM » Author: tcha2424
I need to find a (2) F48T12/HO fluorescent fixture with a magnetic ballast that will operate F48PG17 lamps, either an indoor fluorescent strip or industrial shoplight that uses F48T12/HO

there are some older american flourescent or lithonia strip light that have reversable ends that take slimline
sockets. other wise on newer fixture you have to do some chopping down a bit and install the RDC lamp holders
far as the ballast goes come to ebay.

You will actually need a VHO ballast to properly run the PG17s.  The lamp sockets are also taller (further away from reflector) when mounted.  The ones I have seen are also typically have the slots running vertically, versus horizontally for the HO type.
