Strange how a lot of people have said that their oldest lamp is from the 80's or later when this board deals with Vintage or Antique lamps from before 1979...

My oldest Fluorescent lamps are 14 NOS PHILIPS TL 25W/22 tubes, still wrapped in treir cardboard sleves, manufactured in July 1950.
Edit: the oldest is now a Philips TL20W/33 tube from 1949
There are a lot of more GE, Sylvania and Philips tubes from the 50's in my collection.
The oldest Incandescent lamps are probably from the 1920's made by Philips.
The oldest LPS is a NOS GEC 90W from the end of the 70's
Oldest MH is from the late 70's.
Oldest HPS from the mid 70's
Oldest MV probably from the late 50's or early 60's.
Edit: the oldest is now a MB/V 125W made by Sieray England from around 1942

I think the oldest lamp i have is a Matsushita F15T8 (Made In Japan) from around the late 60's to early 70's.
The oldest incandescent bulbs i have are some GE bulbs from (i think) around late 80's early 90's maybe.
And the oldest HID lamp i have is a (poorly made) Feit Electric 150w HPS bulb from the early 2000's.

New lighting technologies is a pity fest everywhere you look. From LEDs that last only for two months, to a never-ending global starvation of t8 fluorescent tubes. We shall reinforce ourselves with good old full mercury t12s and HIDs made to surpass one's life, and give them all the middle finger ;
