What do you think of OLED as general lighting?
At least it has "Organic" in its name, so it can be easily marketed to "green" people.

OLED is not for general lighting, it was designed for screens. It would degrade veey quickly in general lighting use!  ::)

But OLED panels are planned to be available for general lighting.

I would expect higher heat dissipation capability because they have a bigger surface area.

The higher surface can done with non O LEDs as well. With OLEDs it is simply a must because the materials used are WAY more vulnerable to heat than in non O LEDs

The fact that it is organic, don't means that it is "Green". "Organic" often used as a greenwashing marketing term.
Also: OLED displays have shorter life than LCDs and plasmas and LED displays, because of the limited lifespan of the organic materials.

There is indeed higher heat dissipation area, but the OLED's are way more sesitive devices, so the temperature is way more limited. Therefore the attainable light intensity would be way lower than with other light sources.
On the other hand its format allows virtually any shape, it even allows to be custom cut on site, so allows installation on even complex wall shapes,...
So in an interior lighting the use will be mainly large glowing surfaces (drop ceilig tiles,...), so a more eficient alternative to the indirect illumination.

There are, in fact, commercially-available OLED light fixtures.

The spectrum of OLED lighting is virtually three peaks in the RGB, similar to OLED screens.

Sounds like low CRI.

Light quality would be better than the standard LEDs if they do the non Blue bands right

The white OLED display I have is clearly a blue LED plus a phosphor - there is a distinct narrower blue band (but wider than common with the monocrystal LED's), plus green-yellow continuum (typical phosphor response). The display is by far not designed for any color rendering or so, it is just "some white"/black binary pixel matrix (pixel could be just ON or OFF, it even does not allow anything between).
