I almost forgot, this month L-G turned 10! I was one of the first members here and I remember how small it was. Spread the word! We should thank the site founder Phil Slawinski and the current site owner Patrick, plus the admins for all the hard work! I've made more lighting friends that would have never occured without L-G. Including my friend Rick aka rlshieldjr who became one of my best friends.

I've met three other lighting enthusiasts because of this site, which would not have been possible otherwise. I know there are Facebook groups and whatnot, but it's nice to have a dedicated site to chat and share photos. And it's free! Many thanks indeed.

I have to give this site and its members credit, if I haven't found this site, I wouldn't be where I'm at today. My collection used to be a single verilux bulb and some starters, but in the six months I've been a member, my collection has blossomed into a mixture of old westy life guards, modernish tulamp ballasts, and even rare ken rad and ITT lamps. An awesome milestone indeed! A few months ago when I realized this occasion was coming I thought of researching various milestones and noteworthy events throughout the site's history and making a timeline, but I soon forgot about it.  Wasn't Phil 16 years old or so when he made this site? Pretty remarkable.
