There you go, use that screw to set the tripping point.

Any experience with that screw?
How many turns or fraction of a turn?

The new controller has a 90-day 'warranty',
so do I wait or go ahead and try it?    :)

I messed-up the relay in the old one,
so it's now the 'always on' backup.   ::)

Looks like turn the screw in to tweak it towards the open position. Push the screw (the bimetal strip) and see if this indeed opens the contact

Turn the screw somewhat in that direction

Try to push the screw again to see how the contact opens, and when you release then how it closes. If it does not close back when you release, or if it is allmost in this condition, then you turned it too much, go back

What's a bit puzzling, is the old one didn't take much pressure
to move the relay to have it close.

The newer one is under more tension to close it.

I'll have to try it one day.

Thanks.

You can also try those electronic photocells with a silicon sensor, I think they are better made and have a longer life.
But they might be harder to find, and more expensive.

Thanks, WattMaster.

The landlord 'paid' for the new controller and MV Lamp.

They've been up and running for a bit now.

I'll try the screw adjustment at some point.
