What about the new ones i came across (in motor run applications), filled with vegetable oil ?

Fro the dry film ones i see that the degradation depend a lot on capacitor quality - In the lanterns i saved from a library (were instaled on same circuit), there were 90s lanterns and 2000s lanterns, all 2 x 36 W with 8 uF caps. The 90s ones are down to 5..6 uF, the 2000s ones are allready down to 4 in spite of being half the age....
