G'day everyone! I just thought I'd post this as I am wondering how many people collect insulators as well as lighting equipment? (I do!) It seems to be pretty common!

@ash OK. I only just started collecting them a couple of years ago, been collecting lamps longer

@paintballer22 yes that is a very impressive collection you've got! They're very different to the ones we have here!

The transmitter plant where I work has a collection of "spare" insulators.Have had to use a few of them to replace blown ones .Don't have any otherwise.Collect transmitter tubes instead.

I also collect.  Small collection though.  Had more but some got destroyed by Priority Mail in an out-of-state move from California to Alaska...

I've always joked that putting "Fragile" or "Handle with Care" or "Keep Dry" or "This Side UP? or anything like that on a parcel just encourages the postal service to destroy it... :o :o
