Mystery cobraheads on online lighting store « on: February 08, 2018, 06:48:19 PM » Author: Lumex120
I got bored and decided to see if anything came up when I googled "metal halide cobrahead". These came up as a first result. Does anyone have any information on these? They don't look familiar.

I would get one, those are pretty cheap for metal halide.

I like the look of the large cobrahead too. The prices on the wall packs seem pretty good.

Collect vintage incandescent and fluorescent fixtures. Also like HID lighting and streetlights.

As much as I would love to do that, I am broke right now.

Looks like an M-250A2 and an M-400A2.  Most likely old stock from GE.

They're not G.E. There seems to be a few companies selling these fixtures. The housings come from China. I have one of the larger ones in 400 watt MH. The housing closely resembles a G.E. M250A. Almost identical.

Is it the same size as an M250A?

I don't have an M250A to compare it to but it probably is.

sequoia lighting makes a 400w hps fco streetlight that looks exactly like a g.e. m-400a splitdoor but without a refractor
