Cheap MV Bucket Light « on: September 24, 2016, 06:51:47 PM » Author: wattMaster
Where can I find a cheap MV bucket light? Under $40 would be preferred.
How cheap could it be to convert a PSMH or HPS bucket light that you can buy new in the store right now to MV?
I did find a MV bucket light, but that doesn't look like a bucket light enough for me, and it uses a non-standard photocell.

If you have any fleet farm stores near you, get one of these and disconnect the ignitor. if you do that a 100w merc will work just fine in it.

I might have to use a Home Depot or Lowe's bucket light because none of them are nowhere close to Florida. :-\

If you could find proper MV ballasts, Cooper bucket lights would've the easiest to convert because the ballasts are clamped in.
