Help identifying this light fixture « on: October 01, 2016, 09:46:23 PM » Author: simpson
Hi everyone,

I'm a new member here hoping to get some help.

Anyway, I purchased a house a few months ago that came with two of these fixtures. I've been searching high and low trying to find out what they are, but have failed at all attempts.

Does anyone know what these are and what type of lamp I should be looking for?

Like mbulb146 replied to your picture, this is probably a lumiline fixture. I believe the lamps are now discontinued. You need, in addition to a lamp, end clips that attach to the end connectors of the lumiline lamp and that have prongs that plug into the connectors at either end of the fixture. Lumiline lamps are higher wattage tubular double ended incandescent lamps. You might have some luck finding some on eBay.

The more you hate the LED movement, the stronger it becomes.

Or it may be converted to use Linestra lamp, that is more modern version of the same lamp concept but with different bases

Only times I have encountered Lumaline fixtures was in RCA "H" series AM transmitters-they were used as interior cabinet lights.
