There is an unusual amount of sky glow outside, what can be causing it? Maybe it's the LEDs.

It's just the atmosphere/weather.

This is common here in Israel, during a fog.

Yep, same here too. Here is a picture I took around this time last year, the freeways were LED but the residential streetlights were still HPS. Everything is in my area now LED, save for a few MV and HPS floodlights and NEMAs.

That is really caused by the unfortunate weather (clouds + snow combination), nothing else. Any light source types will end up in skyglow in such weather. Just the color of the skyglow will differ...

Yep, same here too.
And same here as well.

The neighborhoods are still HPS, but allot of the main roads have been LED'ed in the past 2 years.
I have a recent pic here and I know I did & uploaded  a pic a few years ago when all roads were HPS ... but I can't find it in my gallery. But I coulda put it on GOL or ATL too since I also am on those sites, I'll have to go look .lol.

Here there has long been patches of white from the MH in store & car dealer parkinglots that are a few miles north of me. Its less noticeable now with all the LED conversions that have happened on main roads.

Usually car lots are brighter, because they use alot of light to show the cars.
