Found this on google. It has so much interesting stuff in it, I had no idea AEL ever offered an incandescent version on some of their fixtures (including the durastar)

That would be pretty interesting... either that or maybe something in probe-start metal halide. They might have one laying around somewhere NOS.

Yep, I have never seen one either. Looks pretty scary. Also something interesting is that AEL was offering 700w MV on lots of their larger fixtures despite 700w MV being mostly discontinued by this point. All I can say is it sure makes me sad seeing what these companies had available before the bulb bans and LEDs came along.  Sad

I am fairly confident one of the toll roads here in DFW uses these in and around at least one of the toll plazas. I haven't been able to see these up close, but the lenses are the exact same shape.

Now that I think about it, I am pretty sure I saw one many years ago in a parking lot. I thought it looked really scary.
