I truly hope things work out for him... as I've discovered in the past, long distance relationships can be very, very tough. My ex was also from the same country. (India) This was when I was in high school. I'm not saying it won't workout for him, but I do expect things to be very tough for them, if she cannot successfully make it to the UK.

I've exchanged a few emails with him, and he has quite a good lamp collection, although I think a lot are test subjects for blowing up  We were actually planning a meet later in the year, although with his current situation, I'm guessing that's taken a back seat. Top bloke.

Just out of curiosity... and I've been wondering this for years... but is it possible that maybe Photon could also be a lighting enthusiast? I ask this with the understanding that he uses each light for his electrical explosion experiment results, but the thought still does cross my mind.

He's certainly got a good collection, mainly incandescents. Although I did see a couple of 1000W MBF/U's on the fireplace in at least one of the videos.
