Need more info on Flashlight Lamps « on: August 01, 2018, 11:35:01 AM » Author: jrmcferren
I bought a bag lot of flashlight lamps and have been able to identify most of them, however there are two types I'm unable to identify and this is likely due to them either being uncommon, vintage or both. I'm hoping someone with a vintage lamp catalog or are more familiar with flashlight bulbs can identify these.

The first type is PR25, it is a Westinghouse lamp as I can tell by the W over the PR25 marking. The second is a non branded Japanese SK2 lamp type which appears identical to a standard PR type lamp.

It'd probably be helpful to include images.. Or whether it be posting them to the gallery or inserting them in your post here...

I went through all my old catalogs and reference material. I can't find any reference to a PR25 at all! It must be a rare lamp. I'd love to see a photo! There was a rare 2-filament double-contact PR lamp but I can't remember the PR designation. Is yours just a regular single filament?

I have that double filament double contact PR type lamp. It is a PR14 2.5 volt lamp. I never heard of a PR25
