There are plenty on eBay, a quick search found this one. The seller seems to be in Texas too, although I realise Texas is a big place  :D

True, but at least you're on the same land mass, so conceivably could drive to get it. Expensive again, but possible, sometimes I like to go and collect things, it makes for a good road trip  ;D

Now shipping to here really would be over the top  :D

Tell me about it, the commonwealth countries have prohibitive shipping costs! Reason I replied is that I have  three 1000w MH ballasts that I would offer for free after I check them. https://www.lighting-gallery.net/gallery/displayimage.php?pos=-113456 I'm guessing two will be ok.

Look around on Ebay frequently, sometimes they pop up real cheap (I found a 1000w h-36 advance mercury ballast, multivolt, in the original box for $25 bucks with FREE SHIPPING! it took me about a half-second to click BUY!
