How Do You Tell The Diffrence Between The 1959 &1960's Ge M-400? « on: August 09, 2008, 07:59:40 PM » Author: form109
i believe the 1959 m-400's were unpainted and lacked that thumblatch thing that made opening them easier

as for the 1960's models i believe they were painted and had a thumblatch.

correct me if im wrong.

The painting part is correct...first one was totally unpainted...but the later ones were painted silver but the thumb latch came a little later than the painting...the grey ones came the same time the thumb latch came.....
