You can't call what you get in one of those a filament.! To my way of thinking the only light bulb with a filament is an incandescent one

I agree, although some of the decorative ones do look quite nice. But "filament" lamps they ain't
Well, what should i call them, just "LED Lamps" or "LED Linear COB Lamps". lol (edit: looking back at this comment, i think i may have been a bit harsh, sorry if i was.)

They should call them filament STYLE lamps instead I personally like them in locations where a normal incandescent clear lamp would be i.e. a chandelier,sconce,or something with a cut/ribbed glass shade or globe

Oh yeah, for some uses they're fine, and I don't have a problem with them as such, it just irritates me when they are called 'filament' lamps, or even worse when someone slaps the word 'vintage' onto them
